Richard added, “I’m sure we are going to get a lot of flack from a lot of people when they see the pictures but I’d just say get yourself signed up to take part in the High Heel-a-thon, raise loads of money for this great charity and only then can you have a dig at me in my heels!” This, the UK’s first ever High Heel-a-thon is hosted by brand communications agency, Clearsilver, for women, and lots of intrepid men, to slip into their favourite heels to raise money for Breast Cancer Haven on Sunday 27th September. We are asking for just a £20.00 entrance fee per person (which covers entrance admin and the cost of your very fetching event t-shirt) and then to raise as much money as you can for this great cause. We are particularly keen to see company teams taking part and customising their t-shirts! And there will be some great prizes on the day for group and individual entrants. High Heel-a-thon will begin outside Breast Cancer Haven in Leeds with the 1.24 mile route navigating around the Clarence Dock area of the city and returning to a hero’s welcome complete with pink carpet in the courtyard outside Breast Cancer Haven. The day does not end there as the afternoon will be filled with fun, food, family activities and much more! This exclusive event promises to be an exciting day out with those participating receiving a goody bag with lots of fantastic treats and the opportunity to win some amazing prizes as well as the chance to rub shoulders with some very special celebrity guests.
