May 17th 1969 saw Castleford return to the 'Twin Towers' of Wembley for the first time since 1935 for the Challenge Cup Final against Salford. Inspired by Lance Todd Trophy Winner Malcolm Reilly and the legendary 'H Bombs', Alan Hardisty and Keith Hepworth, Classy Cas were victorious and to celebrate the 40th Anniversary a Reunion Dinner is being held to honour the 'Class of 69'. Castleford Tigers Suporters Club have bought a pair of tickets for the Dinner and over the coming weeks we will be selling raffle tickets to win this fantastic prize. The tickets will be on sale soon, watch this space for details. With Mick Morgan as MC and comedian Gary Skyner, it is hoped that most of the 1969 squad will be in attendance at The New Wheatsheaf on Sunday 14th June.
