Late last year CTSC promised £5k toward a refit of the Tigers Gymnasium and made an initial payment of £2500 and this payment is the balance of that donation. A special surface and new equipment was purchased for the Gym whilst CTSC members gave up some of their time to give the place a lick of paint. "To reach the landmark of £30k is a fantastic achievement and has been made possible by the continued support of our members. Their membership fees, their support of our events etc make this sort of thing possible. The Tigers have made a great start to the 2009 season and it would be nice to think that the upgraded gym equipment is playing a part in this success" Richard Wright is seen receiving the cheque from CTSC member Steven Jobling and CTSC commitee member Christine Taylor. Members at the event were able to put their questions to Richard and fellow directors Brian Ashworth, Philp Hindle and Andy Reed and the event raised £170 for CTSC funds |
Castleford Tigers CEO Richard Wright was delighted to receive a cheque for £2500 from Castleford Tigers Supporters Club at the recent 'Meet the Directors' event. A full house at The Loft were on hand to witness this latest donation which takes the total donations from CTSC to in excess of £30k since its formation in 2004.
