Committee member Paul Burns-Williamson said " One of the main aims of the Supporters Club, written into our constitution is to raise funds for the Tigers Youth Development." Tigers' Lottery Manager, Mark Wilson contacted CTSC regarding the possibility of sponsoring the Golden Gamble. Mark and his team have been working hard all season to raise £10,000 towards Youth Development. Paul continued, "Having seen that the funds are helping the Tigers to commit promising youngsters such as Ryan Brierley, Clarke Thompson, and Jonathan Payne to long term deals, we jumped at the chance. The 'Golden Gamble' fits in with our aims and we want to help in surpassing the target and contributing to a bright future on the pitch." "The future of the club relies on the youth coming through the system and at the moment the signs are showing potential. The U-18s Academy side currently occupy a play off spot in the Gillette Academy Championship." "Any help the Supporters Club can give to help our young players progress to the highest level is one of our main objectives". Mark Wilson, on behalf of the Tigers thanks CTSC: "We're very grateful to the committee and members of CTSC for their support of the initiative. The £500 Golden Gamble game day jackpot is really worth winning and throughout the season, fans have been really supporting the bid for £10k. Now CTSC have nailed their colours to the mast as well, the target looks very achievable and with 3 home games - including Sunday's clash with Hull KR, kick off midday- we're hopeful of smashing the target!"
