Keith made an appearance at the school this week to support fund raising efforts for the Wembley trip in August. He presented players with a commemorative replica jersy signed by members of the victorious 1969 squad. The shirt was donated by Castleford Tigers Supporters Club. | | Read more... [Cas High Goes 'Back To The Future'] | We recently purchased a pair of tickets for the 1969 Challenge Cup Final Reunion dinner that was held at the New Wheatsheaf last Sunday. Raffle tickets were sold at the Warrington game and also at our Quiz Night, where the winning ticket was drawn. The 'golden ticket' was number 132 and the lucky winner was Simon Ward of Castleford who was present at the event, buying his ticket on the night. Simon (right) is pictured here, with committee members Darren Stokes, holding the lucky ticket. 
Among the guests present at the Dinner were Alan Hardisty, who captained the side and Lance Todd Trophy winner Malcolm Reilly who had flown over from his home in Australia for the event. | |
