Celtic Crusaders Home

The Tigers ended their regular season with a home win against the basement club Celtic Crusaders by 35 points to 22 although the game lacked any real intensity and had a distinct end of season feel to it.

The game will probably be best remembered for the performance of referee James Child who frustrated the home crowd wih some strange decisions before being replaced at half time due to injury.

Harlequins Away

The Tigers clinched a place in the Play Offs with a crushing 48-0 victory against Harlequins at The Twickenham Stoop.

In an impressive Tigers display Joe Westerman took the individual honours crossing for a hat-trick of tries and 5 goals for an 22 point haul. This wasn't a solo effort by the Tigers as throughout the side there were solid performances Rangi Chase and Brent Sherwin dominating things from the half back slots whilst Kirk Netherton produced a cracking display off the bench.

Wigan Home

The Tigers bounced back from the hammering at Headingley with a much improved performance although ultimately they fell short going down 29-26 to Wigan at The Jungle.

Cas welcomed back scrum half Brent Sherwin after a lengthy lay off along with Kirk Dixon who returned on the wing replacing James Ford. A strong Wigan Line-up arrived for the Sky televised clash including young starlet Sam Tomkins who proved to be the gamestar with a hat-trick of tries and half back partner Thomas Leuluai also chipped in with a brace.

Leeds Away

A Tigers side that had to be re-shuffled due to injury was absolutely destroyed by a rampant Rhinos outfit who ran in 76 points with England winger Ryan Atkins grabbing himself 5 tries in the blitz.

Dean Widders was a surprise selection at stand off with Ryan McGoldrick moving to full back to replace the injured Richard Owen whilst James Ford came in on the wing for Kirk Dixon.

Hull K R Home

The Tigers went down at home, again, to the high flying Hull K R by 28-46 in a game where the final score flattered the visitors as Terry Matterson's boys matched the Robins in almost every department apart from the points, which ultimately is the main statistic.

The opening moments were played at a blistering pace and with only 4 minutes played, Michael Dobson kicked a 40-20 to put the visitors on the front foot. From the resulting possession the ball was transferred through the hands resulting in Liam Colbon crossing at the corner but resolute Tigers' defence forced the winger touch in goal.
