Those who attended last nights "Meet the Directors" event will already know this , but for those of you who didn't , here goes.
2 new signings have been made by the club.
The first is Gray Viane , a 23 year old from Widnes Vikings who is non-quota.
During his 18 months with the Vikings he scored 13 tries in 15 appearances.
The second is Ben Roarty , a 29 year old from Huddersfield. Ben is a quote player and is expected to be utilised in the loose forward position. There have been worries over a serious neck injury but the board stated that all the medical results had been cleared and that there is a clause in the contract that allows the club to release him in the event of injury.
It was also announced that Brad Davis will be Terry Matterson's assistant for the 2006 season as well as taking the U21 side, whilst Tony O'Brien will take on the U18s coaching duties along side his other position as the clubs conditioner.
Those who attended also have seen a sneak preview of what next season shirt may look like. We have a picture of the shirt but have been asked by the club not to publish it at this moment in time until the design is finalised.
We have also announced our plans for our "Back to Superleague Party" , which will be held in January. See above for further info.

Player of the Year Awards Dinner

Tuesday night saw this years Supporters Club "Player of the Year Awards Dinner" take place in the Tigers restaurant.
The event , which was a sell out, started with a meal , followed by stand up , sit down bingo , which was eventually won by committee member Lee Marley (no it wasn't a fix).
This was followed by the free raffle , with the following people winning prizes:-

This was then followed by an auction which raised a £239 for the Supporters Club kitty.

Legends Night

Just a quick post with a few pictures from last weeks "Legends Night" , which was kindly sponsored by Asquiths Fish and Chips.
Those that attended had a good evening with some interesting comments and views from these guys, not only about their time as players / coaches , but also on the current setup.
They also had a lovely pie and peas supper.
The event was mainly a Q & A session and the obligatory Raffle was held , which raised quite a bit more money for SC funds.
Once again , thank you to those that came along last week , we hope you enjoyed it and we hope to see you again at future events.

Meet the Coaches Evening

Last week we held anothe "Meet the Coaches" evening in the Tigers Restaurant.
Thanks to the guys below for taking time out to come along and answer our questions.
As is the norm these days , we also held a raffle and the winner Terry (SPIT) Weaver can be seen below receving his prize of a pair of VIP tickets for this weeks game against Batley , from coach David Woods.
