Those who attended last nights "Meet the Directors" event will already know this , but for those of you who didn't , here goes.
2 new signings have been made by the club.
The first is Gray Viane , a 23 year old from Widnes Vikings who is non-quota.
During his 18 months with the Vikings he scored 13 tries in 15 appearances.
The second is Ben Roarty , a 29 year old from Huddersfield. Ben is a quote player and is expected to be utilised in the loose forward position. There have been worries over a serious neck injury but the board stated that all the medical results had been cleared and that there is a clause in the contract that allows the club to release him in the event of injury.
It was also announced that Brad Davis will be Terry Matterson's assistant for the 2006 season as well as taking the U21 side, whilst Tony O'Brien will take on the U18s coaching duties along side his other position as the clubs conditioner.
Those who attended also have seen a sneak preview of what next season shirt may look like. We have a picture of the shirt but have been asked by the club not to publish it at this moment in time until the design is finalised.
We have also announced our plans for our "Back to Superleague Party" , which will be held in January. See above for further info.
